gOoD nEwS aNd SoMe BaD...
I finally recieved word that my visa has been accepted.... which is SUCH a relief... boy O' boy.. its about time!!! haha... And now I just have to get my plane ticket... thats the good news..
The bad news is.. i have so much money i still have to raise.. i have just been informed that if i dont get that money in then i dont get to go on my outreaches... that wont be good... so i ask for your prayers most importantly... but if there is any way you can help that would be awesome.. im looking at paying around 5,300 US dollars plus living costs as well.... so you can see that im put in a position to ask... i hate doing it.. but i am working full time to raise money and its not enough.. i cant do it alone.. i know most of you have school now and need money as well.. but maybe your parents can help or someone else you know... you might have your own financial problems.. but if there is anyway you can help.. you would never know how much that would mean to me.... if you decide you want to help.. email me at amy_marie_ferreira@yahoo.com and tell me... i will send you my address... you can send the money to me... even if its 5 dollars... anything will help.. i promise you all the money i get WILL go for my trip.. that you can trust... I thank you ahead of time for the decisions you make... god bless you all immensely....

Hey Aimee, I just came across your blog today. That's awesome about YWAM! Do you know of Hillsongs? Will you be near them at all in Australia? It sounds like you and I have a lot in common, well expect age...I am a bit older :o). But, we have Jesus, singing, and the desire to serve God with our whole lives in common. Just thought I'd say Hi. Hope everything falls in place for you. God will use your life, and He will put you right where He needs you. :o)

aimee, I'll talk to my mom and see if she will give you any money. give me your home address and I'll send you whatever I can too. I can't promise that it will be much, but I'll do the best I can. let me know as soon as possible so i can get it in the mail.

Also, just a suggestion, ask the Menahga Lions. Call Jean Weyer, tell her what you're doing and when you need the money by, and ask her if she thinks the Lions would be interested in sponsoring you. I'm sure they would, it's just a matter of when their monthly meeting is. The sooner you do it the better. I bet they'd give you at LEAST $200. The only downside, you would probably have to go to their meeting. All you would do is just explain what you're doing and what you need the money for though. Good Luck and Best Wishes!!
I wish that I could help you out Aimee, but I can barely afford to live myself right now. I wish you the best of luck though, I am sure that the Lions or the VFW would be glad to help you out. Give them a call and see what they will do for you. Love you much, and good luck with all.
